Today’s card is another in my Sweet and Simple series where I have set myself a little challenge using a small amount of equipment and supplies – kind of like one of those cookery shows where you are given 3 or 4 ingredients and you have to turn it into a spectacular 4 course meal!
Well today’s specatular card also bids a fond farewell to Emerald Envy – about to retire at the end of May.
I chose the Truly Tailored Stamp Set from the Occasions Catalog – perfect for guy type cards, birthday as well as for Father’s Day coming in June.
Card base: 11 x 4 1/4 Emerald Envy Card ~ scored @ 5 1/2
Layer 1: 5 1/2 x 2 1/2 Crumb Cake Card
Layer 2: 5 1/2 x 1/4 Gold Foil Card
Ink Color: Emerald Envy
The Truly Tailored Stamp Set has the coordinating Tailored Tag punch (available in a bundle for 10% discount!) which I have used to build up my center greeting, first by stamping the greeting and trimming it close to the stamped line with paper snips, then layering directly onto Night of Navy and off-set onto 2 cut from Emerald Envy card.
