Pop of Petals with Vellum and Wink of Stella Technique

I have been using Vellum Card quite a bit in my projects recently and I wanted to show how it can be stamped on and used as an embellishment as well as a layer.  As so often happens when I am creating I ‘lost’ something on my workbench (of course it was right under my nose!) but I spent a few minutes searching for it and came across my ‘Wink of Stella‘ ~ now that is something that I have not used for some time.

Along with the Pop of Petals Stamp set, I used both of these beauties to create today’s card.  If you scroll down a little way you will also see the video showing how I used the Wink of Stella on the Vellum.

Card base:  11 x 4 1/4 Berry Burst Card ~ scored @ 5 1/2

Layer 1: 5 1/4 x 4 Powder Pink Card

Layer 2: 5 x 3 3/4 Whisper White Card

Ink Colors: Berry Burst and Powder Pink

As Pop of Petals Stamp Set does not have any greetings I turned to an old favorite  Flourishing Phrases – which has a lot of different ones to choose from.  A few Basic Jewel Pearls to complete the flower centers and the card is done.
