Today is the last day of May 2019 …………… oh where did May go? and we have just 4 more days before the Stampin UP! 2018 – 2019 annual catalog retires and well-loved and well-used stamp sets and other products retire. In the last few weeks I been using my blog posts to share some of the things that are retiring – along with links so that you can put in your order so you don’t miss out.
Today’s card uses the One for All Stamp Set ~ along with a little help from the Gallery Grunge Stamp Set (which is not retiring ) and some Copper Foil Card.
Card base: 5 1/2 x 4 1/4 Shaded Spruce Card ~ scored @ 4 1/4
Layer 1: 5 x 3 3/4 Sahara Sand Card
Layer 2: 4 x 2 3/4 Copper Foil
Layer 3: 3 3/4 x 2 1/2 Very Vanilla Card
Ink Colors: Shaded Spruce
I used the wood effect stamp from Gallery Grunge randomly on the Sahara Sand layer before attaching it to the base card with Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive. The greeting is simply stamped smack bang in the middle of the Very Vanilla layer before attaching to the Copper Foil with Liquid Adhesive then attached to the card with 4 – 5 Stampin Dimensionals.
Because I wanted this to be a guy birthday card I used a simple knot of the Braided Twine and a Sprig of Copper Foil cut with the Sprig Punch both of which were attached with a Mini Glue Dot.
