So I have to confess and tell you today’s card is made with a stamp set that I ordered in error – I think I must have either misread the catalog number or twisted a couple of digits around!
For the Love of Felt Stamp Set was designed to be part of the For the Love of Felt Project kit, a fun kit with felt embellishments and other supplies to make 12 cards and a cute presentation box. ( I have added a link to the kit below in case you are interested!)
I guess I could have returned the set but I decided to make it work for me and came up with the following design……………..
Card base: 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 Real Red Card ~ scored @ 4 1/4
Layer 1: 5 1/4 x 4 Granny Apple Green Card
Layer 2: 5 x 3 3/4 Whisper White Card
Ink Colors: Real Red and Granny Apple Green
Everything except the flower is stamped directly on the Whisper White card – the flower onto a scrap of Whisper White then fussy cut with Paper Snips then attached with a couple of Stampin Dimensionals.
I used 3 Mini Glue Dots to attach the 1/2 Granny Apple Green Textured Weave Ribbon – as so often happens when I am working on a card I chose to use Granny Apple Green for this card because of this coordinating ribbon!!!
I am thinking that I might just try to work a Christmas card design using this stamp set – so watch this space! 🙂
