Today I have paired Calypso Coral and Cherry Cobbler – not a color combination I would have thought would go together until I tried it – you have to be adventurous, get those inks out and work with them – you will surprise yourself on how the wonderful colors we have in the Stampin’ UP! color families go together!
My stamp set is Tasteful Textures, it has three lovely designs and six greetings – you can’t do better than a stamp set with images and greetings!
Card base: 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 Calypso Coral Card ~ scored @ 4 1/4
Layer 1: 5 1/4 x 4 Cherry Cobbler Card
Layer 2: 4 3/4 x 3 1/2 Whisper White Card
Ink Color: Calypso Coral
I simply stamped the ‘star flower’ image onto layer 2, all layers are attached with Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive. I used the Sprig Punch (which is one of my favorites!) to cut the 3 sprigs in Cherry Cobbler, Calypso Coral and Sparkle Glimmer Paper, these are attached with a couple of Mini Glue Dots tucked behind greeting. I used the Layering Circles Dies to cut the greeting which is attached with 2 – 3 Stampin Dimensionals. A few Rhinestone Basic Jewels and I am done!
