Welcome back to my corner of the world

Tucked away in the corner of page 25 of the 2020 Mini Catalog are the Peaceful Poppies Elements, a pack full of little gems ~ die cut printed accent pieces ~ some are printed in full color, others are printed on watercolor paper and vellum, perfect for coloring and them some black ‘tone-on-tone’ embossed pieces – probably over a 100 different elements to build beautiful cards.

I chose to pair some of them with pieces cut from Basic Black card using the Painted Labels Dies – giving a big bold centerpiece for my card today.

Card base:  11 x 4 1/4 Thick Whisper White Card ~ scored @ 5 1/2

The die cut black strip from the elements pack is stuck directly onto the card with Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive.  Two of the die cut poppy elements are added with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the vellum leaves with a Mini Glue Dot. 

The greeting is from the Let It Ride Stamp Set cut with the 1 3/8 Scalloped Circle Punch. I think the simple works ‘For You’ would be perfect for a birthday, thank you or thinking of you card – what do you think?
