Every year Stampin’ UP! has a new annual catalog with lots of new products and colors. So when we have some new stuff we say goodbye to some favorites. I have loved the Path of Petals Stamp Set, it has dainty flower images and a range of great greeting suitable for weddings, inspirational, thank you thru to sympathy.

This is a very quick card to make simple using card, stamps and ink. I chose Petal Pink and Early Expresso for my colors, mainly because I wanted to use that ‘oh so pretty’ Petal Pink Organdy Striped Ribbon. It is not too late for you to add this stamp set to your order – it will be available until May 3rd!

• Base Card: 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 Petal Pink Card ~ scored @ 4 1/4
• Layer 1: 5 x 3 3/4 Early Expresso Card
• Layer 2: 4 3/4 x 3 1/2 Very Vanilla Card
• Ink Color: Early Expresso, Old Olive and Petal Pink

I stamped the greeting first, then the plant stems then the flowers. The Path of Petals Stamp Set is a photopolymer set so it is easy to line up the flowers to the stems, I did not line up exactly, but I quite like the delicate, ‘floatyness’ of the blossoms. The stamped layer is attached to Early Expresso with Multipurpose Liquid Glue then attached to the card base with Stampin Dimensionals. The ribbon knot is attached with a mini glue dot then some Basic Pearl Jewels on some of the flower centers.

Like I said a quick and very pretty little card, change out the greeting and it will be a beautiful birthday card.
