Today’s card could be used for just about any occasion, it has bright colors and a simple but heartfelt message, which is from the Positive Thoughts Stamp Set.
My colors of Coastal Cabana and Melon Mambo are new to me but I think they turned out really cheerful 🙂
- Base Card: 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 Thick Basic White ~ scored @ 4 1/4
- Layer 1: 5 1/4 x 4 Coastal Cabana Card ~ run thru the Cut and Emboss Machine with the Ornate Floral Embossing Folder
- Layer 2: 2 1/8 x 1 1/8 Melon Mambo Card
- Layer 3: 2 x 1 Basic White Card
- Strip: 4 x 3/4 Melon Mambo Card
- Ink Color: Coastal Cabana
I attached the Melon Mambo strip to the Coastal Cabana layer with Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive before embossing, than attached to the card base with Stampin Dimensionals. The flower and little leaf were created with the Flowers and Leaves Punch and my favorite Sprig Punch ~ a little silver metallic pearl in the center of the flower to finish off.
