I love the watercolor effect the Artistically Inked Stamp Set gives, a great texture stamp, flowers and leaves and 4 very useful greetings. Today’s card uses this set and is the result of a color challenge I took part in a few weeks ago the result is a very pretty feminine card.
- Base Card: 11 x 4 1/4 Bermuda Bay Card ~ scored @ 5 1/2
- Layer 1: 5 1/4 x 4 Basic White Card
- Layer 2: 3 1/2 x 2 1/2 Blushing Bride Card
- Layer 3: 3 1/4 x 2 1/4 Basic White Card
- Ink Color: Crumb Cake and Blushing Bride
I started by stamping the greeting in the bottom right hand corner, then randomly stamping layer 1 with the texture stamp and Crumb Cake ink, added some Blushing Bride buds then filled in any gaps with the little ‘dotty’ stamp that is in the set. The smaller panel is stamped with the larger blossom then backfilled with the leaves and dots again.
A pretty bow in 1/4 White Crinkle Seam Binding and a few Pearl Basic Jewels and I am done. Such a pretty card, change out the greeting and this could work for other occasions as well.
