Fresh Freesia with Artistically Inked Silhouette

Welcome to my Corner of the World

Today’s card is the result of a happy accident – Using the Artistic Dies I cut the silhouette in black card for an idea I was playing with, only to find it was not working for me, so set it aside for a while. I hate waste so after a few days I was determined to do ‘something’ with it – and I really do like the result!

  • Base Card: 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 Fresh Freesia Card ~ scored @ 4 1/4
  • Layer 1: 5 1/4 x 4 Basic White Card ~ run the the Cut and Emboss Machine with the new Fern 3D Embossing Folder
  • Layer 2: 3 1/4 x 3 1/4 Fresh Freesia Card
  • Layer 3: 3 1/8 x 3 1/8 Basic White Card
  • Ink Color: Tuxedo Black Memento Ink

I had layered some Adhesive Sheet on the back of the black card before cutting out – so it was easy to attach to the center panels. The greeting and leaves on the envelope are from the Artistically Inked Stamp Set which coordinates with the Artistic Dies. A little knot of Fresh Freesia Open Weave Ribbon and a couple of Iridescent Rhinestones and I have a great, if unplanned, card for my stash.

Hi Cindy Pretty card love the die. I enjoyed speaking with you at our breakaway session last Saturday. It was too short! Have a great time with the new catalog. Hugs, Shari
