The Happy Hedgehog Stamp Set has just the cutest little hedgehogs, blossom tree, birds, butterflies and a toadstool – perfect for making some spring time cards. I have used it to make a thank you card and chosen Garden Green and Flirty Flamingo for my colors.
- Base Card: 8 1/4 x 4 1/4 Garden Green Card ~ scored @ 2 3/4
- Layer 1: 4 1/4 x 2 1/2 Flirty Flamingo Card ~ run thru the Cut and Emboss Machine with the Stripes and Splatters Embossing Folder
- Layer 2: 2 5/8 x 2 5/8 Garden Green Card
- Layer 3: 2 1/2 x 2 1/2 Basic White Card
- Ink Color: Garden Green, Crumb Cake and Flirty Flamingo
As always, I stamped my greeting first – this is a hard learned lesson for me 🙂 – I get so carried away with stamping my designs then look to put my greeting and there is no room!! The cute little hedgehog was next followed by the butterfly and little tufts of grass.
I will admit I chose Flirty Flamingo as I wanted to use the Flirty Flamingo 1/4 Gold Metallic Ribbon as it has just the right amount of ‘sparkle’, I love to use ribbon on my projects, it adds additional texture and dimension taking them to the next level.
