Welcome to my corner of the World
Once again I am thrilled to be taking part in the Ink . Stamp . Share blog hop. We are a group of Stampin’ Up!®️Demonstrators from around the globe here to bring you inspiration through creativity!
You will have either arrived from Sue’s post or starting here ~ either way WELCOME . We do not have a theme, but each of the talented artisans showcase what they are working on at this time each month. There will be techniques, fancy folds, 3D, new products and ideas – a veritable treasure chest for you to draw on every month.
So this month I have been playing with the Bleach Painting Technique, where I have taken a heat embossed image then painted inside the lines with bleach!
Base Card: 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 Pear Pizzazz Card ~ scored @ 4 1/4
Layer 1: 5 1/4 x 4 Basic White Card ~ run thru Cut and Emboss Machine with the Quatrefoil Tile Embossing Folder
Layer 2: 5 x 2 Flirty Flamingo Card ~ heat embossed in silver then painted with bleach.
Ink Color: Versamark
You need to choose a stamp that has some open spaces such as the flower I have used from the Cottage Rose Stamp Set, with the coordinating Cottage Flowers Dies which is what I used to cut out the 4th flower and the pretty and delicate open leaves.
I used the smallest of the Water Painters and ordinary household bleach, taking care not to let it drip onto my card otherwise I will have a ‘bleached blob’ where I didn’t want it!! My final bit of bling are the Iridescent Pearl Basic Jewels.

I tested a whole bunch of different card colors with the bleach to see which would give me the biggest contrast, here are a few of them.
