The other week I shared the Lovely Layers Vellum Pack, today I share the 3rd design in my series which I have showcased the Splendid Stems Dies. As I explained in my first design I am pairing each one with a 2022 – 2024 In-Color – today features Parakeet Party – which is currently my favorite!.

• Base Card: 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 Basic Black Card ~ scored @ 4 1/4
• Layer 1: 5 1/4 x 4 Parakeet Party 6 x 6 Decorative Paper Pack
• Layer 2: Lovely Layers Vellum
• Ink Color: Versamark and Black Embossing Powder

I have chosen the vellum with the ‘swirly circle’ design ~ I heat embossed my greeting first, this is from the Sending Smiles Stamp Set. Heat embossing vellum is very pretty but you do have to be a little careful with getting the heat gun too close to the vellum as it will burn quite quickly.

Using some scraps of Basic Black and Basic White card I die cut some of the leaves from the Splendid Stems dies – I attached some Adhesive Sheet to the back before cutting making it very easy to attach to the vellum. The Vellum is attached with a couple of Mini Glue Dots hidden underneath the In-Color Matte Decorative Dots. A little bow made with the Parakeet Party Baker’s Twine attached with a Mini Glue Dot completes the card.
