Each month I take part in a Scrapbook hop,  I recognize not everyone is into scrapbooking so I try to take some elements from my layout to create a card to show how Stampin’ UP! products can be used for both card making and scrapbook pages.

January’s hop had had us using products from the Jan – April 2023 Mini catalog (check it out here) and I chose to use one of the new bundles called Around the Bend. I think this would make an wonderful card for any occasion – ‘Hello There’ is just perfect for this!

• Base Card: 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 Orchid Oasis Card ~ scored @ 4 1/4
• Layer 1: 5 1/4 x 4 Very Vanilla Card ~ for inside the card
• Ink Color: Orchid Oasis

Both the stamp set and the dies literally have curvy pieces, I used one to cut one side of the card front off to give a decorative edge and another to cut the very pretty corner piece from Very Vanilla Card. I did some tone-on-tone stamping on the card front and added the flowers and leaves also cut with dies from the set. The edges of the flowers and leaves have been sponged with the new Small Blending Brushes and finished off with the new Flat Adhesive Pearls, I just love the overall effect and it is easy to see how card making and scrap book pages can use the same supplies 🙂
