Using Cutting Dies to Emboss Card Technique ~ Video Tutorial

Welcome to my Corner of the World

Today I share a technique with an easy fun fold to showcase two of the new Stampin UP! colors. The combination of Pebbled Path and Lemon Lolly is one I tripped over a few weeks ago, I just love it so have used it again. You can check out the other card here

  • Base Card: 11 x 4 1/4 Lemon Lolly Card ~ scored @ 2 1/8 & 4 1/4
  • Layer 1: 5 1/4 x 4 Lemon Lolly Card
  • Layer 2: 5 1/2 x 4 1/4 Pebbled Path Card
  • Inside Layer: 5 1/4 x 4 Basic White Card
  • Ink Color: Lemon Lolly & Pebbled Path

I am happy that the Artistically Inked Stamp Set and coordinating Artistic Dies are still available in the new catalog and to celebrate this I chose to use them for this technique. I also broke out the Inked and Tiled Punch Pack to create the greeting label. I love to add ribbon and some sparkle so chose to use the coordinating Pebbled Path Ribbon and In-color dots which have just a subtle sheet to them both

Check out the video to see how everything goes together – remember to take note of the ‘sandwich’ for the Cut and Emboss Machine for successful embossing 🙂
