Welcome to my corner of the World
Once again I am thrilled to be taking part in the Ink . Stamp . Share blog hop. We are a group of Stampin’ Up!®️Demonstrators from around the globe here to bring you inspiration through creativity!
You will have either arrived from Jana’s post or starting here ~ either way WELCOME . We do not have a theme, but each of the talented artisans showcase what they are working on at this time each month. There will be techniques, fancy folds, 3D, new products and ideas – a veritable treasure chest for you to draw on every month.
Today I am sharing a home décor project – I recognize that not everyone is into 3D items so I used the same products to create an any occasion card with lots of impact!
The Paper Florist Dies are exactly as their name implies – you can create lots of beautiful flowers and make arrangements using them. It is a great way of using up the scraps we all have in our stash and I was able to cut out all the pieces for these projects in less than 10 mins. I used Liquid Adhesive to attach the pieces together to build the flowers, playing around with the colors until I was happy with the result.
This little chalkboard plaque measures 5 x 3 and comes with the wholes already drilled and the piece of string attached. I was able to arrange my flowers and attach with a hot glue gun. The greeting uses the Alphabet A La Mode Dies, I added Adhesive Sheet to the back of the card before cutting and they stuck very well to the chalkboard base.
- Base Card: 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 Fresh Freesia Card ~ scored @ 4 1/4
- Layer 1: 5 1/2 x 4 1/4 Highland Heather Card
- Layer 2: 5 x 3 3/4 Basic White Card
- Ink Color: Gorgeous Grape
My greeting is from the Kindest Expressions Stamp Set, as always I stamped this first then attached each of the flowers and leaves with Mini Glue Dots and Liquid Adhesive
