Sometimes I focus so much on the detail on my cards that my greeting can kinda get a little lost! Th Kindest Expressions Stamp set has 4 really great large greetings that can be used as a focal point. I paired it with the Petal Park Stamp set which is all images without any words – perfect combination in my book! I also used this card to show a very quick and easy technique using Vellum Card.
- Base Card: 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 Azure Afternoon Card ~ scored @ 4 1/4
- Layer 1: 5 1/4 x 4 Blueberry Bushel Card
- Layer 2: 5 x 3 3/4 Basic White Card
- Ink Color: Azure Afternoon
I stamped the greeting first then added the leaves from Petal Park Stamp Set before attaching it to the Blueberry Bushel layer with Liquid Adhesive and the card base with Stampin Dimensionals.
Now those dainty flowers…….. Using Vellum Card and the dark Fresh Freesia and dark Highland Heather Stampin Blends I simply just ‘scribbled’ with the broad brush end until the vellum card was completely covered then cut with the little flowers from the Translucent Floral Dies. This means you can choose any color you want to create pretty little flowers for your card.
I just love this greeting, I think it would work for Birthday, Graduation, Engagement, Wedding, Passing Exams, passing a driving test – almost any occasion that makes someone HAPPY!
