Over the next few weeks I shall be sharing some cards featuring the 2022 – 2024 In-colors. These will be retiring at the end of April, but they are likely to sell out long before that time, so if you would like to stock up on ink refills and card …… then this is the time to place your order!
Today’s card features Starry Sky, a rich blue which I have paired with Balmy Blue and the Everyday Details Stamp Set giving a bit of a shabby chic vibe going on!!
- Base Card: 11 x 4 1/4 Starry Sky Card ~ scored @ 5 1/2
- Layer 1: 5 1/4 x 2 1/2 Balmy Blue Card ~ run thru Cut & Emboss Machine with the Layered Florals Embossing Folder
- Layer 2: 4 x 2 1/4 Basic White Card
- Circle: 3 x 3 Basic White Card ~ cut with Deckled Circle Dies
- Ink Color: Starry Sky and Crumb Cake
The Everyday Details Stamp Set has 3 very different stamps perfect for focal points – it also has a ‘dotty’ stamp and if you follow me on YouTube as well as here on my blog you will know I just love a ‘dotty’ stamp to fill in empty space and add texture! I broke out my Watercolor Pencils to make highlights on the teacup and then some sponging around the edges using Sponge Daubers.

The Balmy Blue/White ribbon is so beautiful to use on cards, although it is 1″ wide it is very thin so ties without lots of bulk.
