Hello ~ Accented Blooms

Summer is well and truly with us here in North Texas – we are forecast for 100F+ for the next 10 days.  My garden is looking a little parched despite the fact I am out watering at 7am every day!

Animal Outing ~ Birthday

Our youngest grand-daughter just turned 3!  Cannot believe how quickly those 3 years have passed.  Nearby where they all live in the UK is a Wildlife Park,  a favorite place for a family day-out.  So when it came to making her a card this year the Animal Outing Stamp Set, which I got when attending the Stampin’ UP! demonstrator conference at the beginning of April, was perfect for her birthday card. Petal Palette Thank You

Petal Palette – I just love this stamp set – I have shared in the past how much I love flowers and using them in my cards and this one has them + a cute little bird and a boatload of useful greetings.  Today’s card uses a number of products from the Petal Passion Suite in the Occasions Catalog.  This suite features mainly black and white with a little flash of silver – so it will go with just about anything  in Stampin’ UP!’s range of colors, today I chose to go with Calypso Coral. The Birthday Blossom stamp set has such pretty images and I am drawn to the lovely cursive greetings that it has.  I used it as one of my virtual on-line stamp classes last year and I am thrilled to have used it again in the card I am sharing today. Continue reading
