For the last 4 – 5 years I have designed and enjoyed making my flip over desk calendar for the ladies who come to my classes.  As I have done for the last few years I am going to be sharing one at the start of each month. This was designed for a stamp camp in early December 2023, we had such fun making them and my ladies have made me promise to do another for 2026 ……….. already!

Like last year, I recognize not everyone is into making 3D items so have created a card for each month, using elements from the calendar for that month. .

So today I share, Sunshine & Seashells

• Base Card: 5 1/2 x 4 Lost Lagoon Card
• Calendar Layer : 5 x 3 1/2 Basic White Card
• Ink Color: Lost Lagoon & Crumb Cake

The stamp set is Circle Sayings (which has now retired 😦 ) and I simply stamped the images directly onto the calendar.

As I work thru the year some of the products used might have retired, however you may have them in your stash or find a suitable alternative, either way enjoy 🙂

The calendar part is made using the Days to Remember Stamp Set ~ which is cleverly designed to cover all the months of the year. I have a video on how I used it to create my calendar. Check out how I did this

• Card Base: 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 Lost Lagoon Card ~ scored @ 4 1/4
• 2nd Layer : 5 1/4 x 4 Crumb Cake Card ~ run thru the Cut & Emboss Machine with the So Swirly Embossing Folder
• 3rd Layer: 3 3/4 x 2 3/4 Lost Lagoon Card
• 4th Layer : 3 1/2 x 2 1/2 Basic White Card
• Ink Color: Lost Lagoon & Crumb Cake

I added a embossed Crumb Cake layer as it reminded my of the pattern the sea makes on the sand as the tide goes in and out! A simple bow made with Linen Thread and Flat Pearl Embellishments finishes off the beachy theme
