Welcome to my Corner of the World
As I explain in my video today, I wanted to create a masculine card using the graceful leaf die from the Nature’s Symphony Die Set. I started with a square card base and built up from there. As I was working I mused about creating a 5 1/2 x 4 1/4 card using the same supplies and equipment and using some of the ‘leftovers’ from my first card. I went ahead and made one have included that in this post!

- Base Card: 11 1/2 x 5 3/4 Basic White Thick Card ~ scored @ 5 3/4
- Layer 1: 5 1/2 x 5 1/2 Basic White Card ~ run thru embossing machine with Timeworn Type Embossing Folder
- Ink Color: Nocturne Black
For both versions of the card I used the 3 1/2 x 3 1/8 circle dies. On the larger card I created a frame with black card using both dies together. On the smaller card I cut a full circle of both the black and white card and layered them to create a faux frame.
Check out the video to see how everything goes together and why my card measurements a little different from usual 🙂
