It is about a month since the new Holiday Catalog was released and I have spent some very happy hours using some of the new products Stampin’ Up! has introduced. I am planning to share some of my projects with you over the coming weeks. So here is the first of many (hopefully 🙂 )

Holiday Season brings the Craft Fairs……….
Now that Labor Day has passed and we officially entered ‘Fall’ on Monday evening, I figure it is safe to start talking about the upcoming Holiday season!

Gift Packaging for hand-made soap – how to video……..
My sweet friend Rose has been making soap and I was lucky enough to be given one of the first bars. As soon as I saw it I knew I had to make a gift box for it and that I would give the ‘recipe’ to her along with a sample so she could make some for future gift-giving. A new space
I have not posted over the last few days as I have been moving house. We successfully sold our house (which we had lived in since we arrived in the US in 2001) and we closed bright and early yesterday morning. However, our new house is still being built and will not be ready until Thanksgiving, so we have moved into an apartment for the next 4 months. Continue reading

Blendabilities Box…… How to video….
Blendabilities are Stampin Up’s newest product, they are available in 12 of the exclusive Stampin Up colors as well as a skin tone assortment. Each of the assortments contains 3 markers in light, medium and dark shades of the color, they are alcohol ink markers made for blending and shading. Each set of markers comes in a neat little wallet, but as my collection grew it became clear I needed a box for them to sit together on my work table …… So here is my solution……. Continue reading

2014/2015 Stampin’ Up Catalog Launch @ Cindy’s Corner
June 2nd sees the launch of a new Stampin’ Up catalog, full of great new products and ideas…… so here we have a great excuse of a …. PARTY!!!
We had games (scavenger hunt thru the new catalog) make and takes – playing with some of the new stamp sets, card, inks and other products, soda, cake and to finish everyone took home a ‘goodie bag’ Every party has to have cake and a goodie bag…. right? Continue reading
Gift Box Tutorial
I am currently hosting a Stampin’ Up marker share. There are 38 markers in the Many Marvellous Markers case (with room for the 10 In-colors) It can be a little bit on the pricy side to make the $109.95 investment in one go – but a ‘share’ over 4 months can be much more manageble ~ each member of the share recieves all of the markers inone of the color families each month and on one month will also recieve the fantastic sturdy storage case.
