In keeping with what is becoming a little bit of a series…….. using one card layout but showing that they can easily be used for different occasions by simply changing the sentiment. Stampin’ Up!’s wonderful variety of stamp sets makes it so easy!

Hello Darling…… again….
There is more to this stamp set than I thought! I chose to use it for my April Card Class and made a really unusual fold card which started with a piece of 12 x 12 card stock! The Hello Darling contains a variety of images which, at first, did not work together for me, but once I started ‘playing’ was able to produce a number of different designs.
Swallow Tail Butterfly Thank you
I probably make more thank you cards than for any other occasion and I usually make at least 2 of the same design ~ once you have out the inks and ribbon it is just as easy to do everything twice.
Hello Darling……1 card…… 2 occasions……
I needed to make a ‘thank you’ card for a friend, well you have to cut a piece of 11 x 8 1/2 in 2 pieces to start the card and you already have your stamps, ink and embellishments out, so why not just make up both halves……..
New Events added to Calendar
I have updated my calendar of events with my classes and stamp camps. There are lots of new things to choose from, so click on the ‘Calendar’ tab at the top of the page and let me know what which class(es) you would like join me.
A new series of classes are in the works……. Stamp-a-stack!!!
If you’d like any of the supplies, to shop, or to get a catalog, please feel free to contact me, and if you’re thinking of joining Stampin’ Up! and my team I’d most definitely like to hear from you.
Bookmarks using Stampin’ Up!’s Butterfly Basics
I recently received a copy of the Book of Morman from Shelli and Sterling Gardner and it contained a handmade bookmark, it got me thinking that with all the electronic media we have these days the good ol’ bookmark really doesn’t have much of a chance! But we all do have at least one book we could use one in ~ our Stampin’ Up! annual catalog for example!
I always have a little gift for each of my customers and for March…. you guessed it…. they all got a bookmark!
Easter gifts …….
I value the ladies who come to my classes, I love the enthusiasm they bring and the wonderful friendships I have developed in the 4 1/2 years I have been a demonstrator.
During my March class I gave everyone a little ‘milk carton’ filled with tiny chocolate easter eggs……………………….
Thank you cards
One of the lovely things about having card making classes is when you receive a hand-made thank you card in return. I thought I would share a couple I got in the mail in the last few weeks.
FYI – 2 more days Sale-a-bration before finishes…… did you get your free stuff yet? Click the ‘shop now’ button to the right there – you won’t be sorry 🙂
Happy Birthday…….
Today is our eldest grand-daughter’s 6th birthday, as she lives in England we don’t get to see to much of her, but a card is one way of sharing our delight in her birthday.
It is always a challenge for me to make cards the ‘littlies’ (as we call them in our family) but when I first saw this Etch-a-sketch card I knew it would be perfect.
Happy Valentine’s Day
This is the final project celebrating Valentine’s Day, I think I saved this one for last as it really does use colors well outside the box, but who said Valentine cards had to be red and pink!!!!
I hope you enjoyed my week of valentine projects, I certainly enjoyed sharing them with you – if you have a moment please leave me a comment ~ let me know you are out there !!!!!
