I just love it when I can take one idea to the next level, but when I can take two ideas and put them together… WOW…… it make me a very happy stamper! I needed a couple of ‘Thank you ‘ gifts for two ladies that had been very supportive during tax season so some monogrammed notecards were the perfect solution. Continue reading

Everything Eleanor Hostess Gifts
There is something about Stampin Up’s Everything Eleanor stamp set that draws me back to it time and time again. The images in it are so versatile, I have used it for Christmas, birthday, thank-you, thinking of you cards etc. I spent this morning making some hostess gifts for some friends who have invited us to supper this evening, so Everything Eleanor came out and did its thing!!! Modern Medley DSP Card
I made this card for the husband of a dear friend who celebrated his birthday this week. My inspiration was from a card by POOTLES, a UK Stampin Up demonstrator. I used Stampin UP’s Modern Medley DSP and the ‘Really Good Greetings’ Stamp Set. I particularly wanted to use the ‘music note’ design as he is a musician. Continue reading
Girl Scout Cookie Card
Those of you who have been following my blog regularly will know I love punch art. The Girl Scout cookie season has just come to an end and it reminded me of a project I did for last years’ cookie season. I was asked by a local troupe of Girl Scouts if I would help them work toward getting their ‘Arts and Crafts’ patch and their leader thought it would be a great idea for them to make thank-you cards featuring a cookie…. this is what I came up with….. Sale -a-bration. ~ You’re Lovely stamp set
A card made for an acquaintance who was recently diagnosed.
The base card is Stampin’ Up’s Blushing Bride card, dry embossed with the Decorative Dots embossing folder then topped with a Tea Time paper doily.
The ‘You’re Lovely stamp set was used for the center embellishment layered on to Sahara Sand card both of which were cut with the Deco Labels Framelits. Basic Gray ink was used then Blushing Bride and Pear Pizzazz ink and a blender pen used to water color the flowers.
This was adhered using stampin dimensionals with a twist of 1\4 stitched Blushing Bride grosgrain ribbon and a gentle sprinkling of pearls to finish off. Hopefully it conveys encouragement for her upcoming treatment.
If you’d like any of the supplies, to shop, or to get a catalog, please feel free to contact me, and if you’re thinking of joining Stampin’ Up! and my team I’d most definitely like to hear from you.
