I just love the little ‘ducky’ in the Field Journal Stamp Set – he (since this is a guy card) is a very proud looking duck and the perfect center piece for this gatefold style card.
I chose to use Cinnamon Cider Card with Early Expresso and a tiny pop of Just Jade 1/4 ribbon.
Continue readingWe are just a couple of weeks away from Valentine’s Day – it just seems a few days that we were celebrating Christmas!
Today’s card uses the Touched My Heart Stamp Set which is one of the sets you can get for free for hosting a party or if you place an order for $150 of Stampin UP goodies! I have been surprised on how versatile it has been, it has a beautiful heart stamp with leaves twisting and curling around it just perfect for Valentine or maybe a wedding or anniversary card. I have paired it with the Meant to Be Stamp set for my greeting.
Continue readingWhen the Stampin’ UP! Jan – June 2021 Mini Catalog came out in December there was a new product – Gilded Leafing Embellishment, a beautiful pot containing delicate and wispy pieces of a gold colored foil – which was bright and sparkly and I just love bright and sparkly!
I am working on a series of posts and videos sharing various designs and techniques for using this wonderful product – today shows a piece of gilded card which has been dry embossed …… stunning!

Continue readingI made this card earlier this year, I just love this little guy and chose colors I thought would appeal to the littlies in our lives. It uses a two-step stampin’ technique and to ensure I lined everything up properly I used my Stamparatus.
I think if you change out the greeting it would make a fantastic new baby card or even an anniversary card – the possibilities are endless.
Continue readingI recently learned that here, in the US, hedgehogs are kept as pets, who knew? Back in my native UK they live in the wild, visit gardens at night, eat the slugs and snails then curl up and sleep thru the winter!
I have broken out my water-colouring pencils again today, for the cutest little guy EVER, using the Walk in the Woods stamp set to create this thank you card, but as always – change out the greeting and it will make the perfect birthday or thinking of you card.

I am sure that there are many of us who know someone who has not been in the best of health, either thru the current health crisis or other issues, so having some Get Well Cards on hand is very useful.
The Healing Hugs stamp set is perfectly named and perfect for making todays’ card. I chose Magenta Madness paired with some Smoky Slate and Silver Foil for this little splash of cheerfulness.

Continue readingJanuary 1st 2021 – the start of a brand new year. I am not a big fan of January, I will be packing up my Christmas decorations on the 6th and it will be a while before we can look forward to spring showing all the new color and growth.
In the early part of December I had a class to create a flip over calendar, everyone loved it and made me promise we will do another later in this new year! I thought I might start each month this year by posting the page for that month, so today I share, January!
