Continue readingWell, I know we are in the early part of autumn and I love autumnal colors, but I don’t want to get tooooo lost in them, so today’s card is a combination I have a real love for at the moment ~ Tahitian Tide and Parakeet Party. Both of these colors have very tropical sounding names so I have paired them with the Artfully Layered Stamp set as that leaf certainly reminds me of palm trees!

Continue readingToday I have a bit of a shabby chic/vintage feel to my card, I have used the Split Card Texture Dies to create a stencil then broke out the Blending Brushes and got to work with some Soft Suede Ink. I did not set out to create shabby chic, but the colors then using Distress Gold Specialty Paper kinda turned it into one! Go with the flow I say!

Continue readingWhen I first saw the Ranunculus Romance Stamp set I could see so many card ideas. I love all the little eclectic elements that allows you to build up a great design and then it has a 4 different greetings to cover a bunch of occasions.
My color combination is Cherry Cobbler and Flirty Flamingo, not one I would have thought to use however a couple of scraps laying on the floor sparked my imagination ~ adding the neutral Very Vanilla card and Crumb Cake ink made it work!
