Butterflies and Feathers – Thank You Card

Welcome to my Corner of the World

I have used the Positive Thoughts Stamp Set a lot, I love the different images and it has some pretty greetings as well. I like to think out of the box for my color combinations, sometimes it is inspired by ribbon, decorative paper or scraps I find on my work station that just ‘look’ interesting and appealing. So that is how the Misty Moonlight and Mint Macaron used today came into being – scraps waiting to be tidied away 🙂

Harvest Meadow and Color and Contour Thank You Card Idea

Welcome to my Corner of the World

I am doing it again ~ using my Designer Series Paper!!! This time I have pared the Color and Contour Stamp Set with Harvest Meadow DSP.

Each time a new catalog is launched I look at Punches, Ribbon and then the DSP before anything else. I have shared before that often my ribbon drawer is the starting point for choosing colors for my projects but sometimes there just isn’t the color I need ! No problem ~ I can color up some of my own! As I explain in my video, today’s card is to welcome my great-niece into the family and I was looking for something cute but not pink so Pale Papaya and Calypso Coral it is and although I designed it for a new baby I think it would work for just about any occasion!

I have used the Biggest Wish Stamp Set on several occasions, it very cleverly has 5 words each produced in block capital letters and in a pretty script, this way you can build up a greeting that suits your needs.
