Fall ~ Ink & Share Scrapbook Blog Hop

Welcome to the 3rd in Ink & Share Scrapbook blog hop,  I am delighted to be taking part  again.  You will have noticed a change to our ‘livery’ but we are the same group of international demonstrators sharing our ideas with you.

You will have either arrived from  Jo Blackman’s post or starting here ~ either way WELCOME .   This month’s theme is  FALL  ~ we are just about to start fall here in North Texas, the weather is so unpredictable that it could last until next spring or we could get a a viscous winter with ice storms.

Once again I have chosen to use a 12 x 12 page – mainly because Stampin’ UP! has 12 x 12 card stock in all its colors which gives me a fantastic choice but also because they have the 12 x 12 Page Protectors and Albums.

You will have either arrived from  Rebecca Jo’s  post or starting here ~ either way WELCOME .   This month’s theme is  a sketch challenge! ~ we were given a sketch as inspiration. I have never used a sketch for a scrapbook page before so this certainly is a challenge for me!

Once again I have chosen to use a 12 x 12 page – mainly because Stampin’ UP! has 12 x 12 card stock in all its colors which gives me a fantastic choice but also because they have the 12 x 12 Page Protectors and Albums.

Vintage Scrapbook Page ~Ink and Share Blog Hop

I am not new to scrap booking or memory-keeping  but I do find it hard to find the time to dedicate to it, so I am delighted to be taking part  in the Ink & Share Scrapbook blog hop for its very first HOP!

You will have either arrived from  Cheyrl Taylor’s post or starting here ~ either way WELCOME .   This month’s theme is  to use anything that is currently available from Stampin’ UP!  ~ and I have designed  a vintage theme and  chosen to create a 12 x 12 page using Crumb Cake Card and Balmy Blue Card.  I want to show you that your card making supplies can be used for creating scrapbook pages and customized embellishments, quickly and easily.

Rooted in Nature ~Ink and Share Blog Hop

Today I am thrilled to be taking part  in the Ink & Share blog hop again.  You will have arrived from  Deb Naylor’s post.   This month’s theme is  Masculine  ~ I always find it so hard to create for the fellas – so I am looking forward to seeing what  the other contributors to this hop are going to share so I can get some more inspiration.

Today I have used the Rooted in Nature stamp set with the coordinating  Nature’s Roots Framelit Dies and taken on the challenge to make a never-ending card – there are lots of videos out there on this fold BUT they are all square and since here in the US we have to pay additional postage for a square card I have found a way to make this fold so that the card size is a standard 5 1/2 x 4 1/4 and will fit in a regular envelope!

Adirondack Beach Memories ~Ink and Share Blog Hop

Today I am thrilled to be taking part  in the Ink & Share blog hop again.  You will have arrived from Rebecca-Jo Unwin’s post.   This month’s theme is  Summer ~ I really thought about this  and recall family holiday’s when we were children in North Devon in the UK, there was a particular beach, Putsborough Sands, that had wonderful sand and you could walk into the sea for ages before it got too deep.

It bought back such happy memories that I decided that my summer card would feature a beach with a comfy chair where you can take time to just watch the world go by.

Lovely Wishes~Ink and Share Blog Hop

Today I am thrilled to be taking part  in the Ink & Share blog hop again.  You will have arrived from Linda Handford’s post.   This month’s theme is anything from the Occasions Catalog ~ and I have chosen Lovely Wishes because I just love the  swirls and the organic ‘feel’ of the images, looking at my card I kinda have a ying-yang thing going on here.  The stamp set also has some greetings  so meets my goal of using just one stamp set for each project .  Continue reading

You’re Inspiring ~Ink and Share Blog Hop

Today I am participating in a blog hop and you will have arrived from Jacqueline Bobeldjik-Schilder’s post.   This month’s theme is Spring/Easter.  I was really stuck which to choose as we are a week away from Easter and my garden is full of blooming daffodils, tulips and my peach tree is in full blossom!

I could not decide which theme to focus on so as the You’re Inspiring stamp set has daffodils and a ‘Happy Easter’ greeting I am able to cover both!  I wonder if my fellow ‘hoppers’ had the same thought? Continue reading
