‘Hello‘ is such a happy word, it is the start of something new – a conversation, new friend or a new discovery. My card today will work for just any occasion ~ even to send ‘ just because’! I have chosen some bright ‘tropical’ colors to compliment the Tropical Hideaway Background Stamp and added a cute flower to finish it off.

I chose to use the Easter Bunny Stamp set with coordinating punch and the Rain or Shine Decorative Paper for this simple gatefold card and have a video to show how it comes together and how I used my Stamparatus for the reflection technique!

While I was warm and snug indoors it did look a bit bleak outside and I needed to think about something a sunny and bright – so today’s card uses the Tropical Hideaway Stamp with some bright and happy gold heat embossing.

Continue readingHaving a standard recipe for the layers of a card can be a good start in the design process, today’s card follows a recipe I use quite a lot. That is my starting point, then I choose my colors and stamp set (s).
I may have shared in the past……………….. I love punches, they are one of the first things I look for when a new catalog comes out so while the layout is straightforward I have gone a little overboard with my punches. 🙂

To introduce the new kit I chose to share the Heat Resist Embossing Technique with the Pretty Medallion Stamp and paired with the Deckle Rectangle Dies. Check out the video below.

Continue readingToday’s color combination was inspired by an RV (recreational vehicle) that pulled along side at some traffic lights, they looked so good together, Crumb Cake, Basic Grey and Merry Merlot, so it came together for this Thank You card.
Continue readingThis is a very quick fun fold to make, by simply cutting a piece off the front of the card, then flipping it around and attaching it to the front! I used the Butterfly Brilliance Background stamp for this card – as it is quite a large stamp I used the Stamparatus to help me out.
