‘Hello‘ is such a happy word, it is the start of something new – a conversation, new friend or a new discovery. My card today will work for just any occasion ~ even to send ‘ just because’! I have chosen some bright ‘tropical’ colors to compliment the Tropical Hideaway Background Stamp and added a cute flower to finish it off.
- Base Card: 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 Pear Pizzazz Card ~~ scored @ 4 1/4
- Layer 1: 5 1/4 x 4 Shaded Spruce Card
- Layer 2: 4 3/4 x 3 1/2 Basic White Card
- Banner: 3 1/2 x 1 Melon Mambo Card
- Ink Color: Shaded Spruce and Old Olive
I loaded the background stamp onto my Stamparatus, then added Shaded Spruce ink to the top of the stamp and Old Olive to the bottom so I would get a nice color graduation. I then used my blender pen to ‘smooch’ some of the ink onto some of the leaves. My banner is simply attached with a little Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive after stamping my greeting from the Biggest Wish Stamp Set.
Using a few scraps of Basic White and Melon Mambo Card I cut the flowers with the Flowers and Leaves Punch, stacking them together with Mini Glue Dots and finishing off with a Melon Mambo Glossy Dot.
