I may have said on more than one occasion, how much I love the Ranunculus Romance Stamp Set!! I love the eclectic images and the greetings which are just perfect for a growing passion of mine – the vintage shabby chic style. I have shared a number of cards using this set and have added some links below for you to see. I have chosen to make this into an any occasion card.
Continue readingMy color combination for today’s card was inspired by a flower arrangement in the hotel lobby where we stayed for a wedding in Calistoga CA last spring! I saw it and immediately thought So Saffron, Garden Green and some deep Blackberry Bliss roses. I jotted it down in my notebook and finally got around to using it with the Sending Smiles stamp set.

Continue readingOne of my grand-daughter’s is into dance and has been very successful in competitions. Just before Christmas we learned that she has been selected to compete on behalf of the UK in the World Dance Championships in Portugal this coming summer. As you can imagine we are beyond proud of her accomplishment and could not let it go without a card to tell her so!
She has just turned 10 so the Sweet Songbird Stamp Set with coordinating Songbird punch is just perfect for the job.
Continue readingEach month I take part in a Scrapbook hop, I recognize not everyone is into scrapbooking so I try to take some elements from my layout to create a card to show how Stampin’ UP! products can be used for both card making and scrapbook pages.
January’s hop had had us using products from the Jan – April 2023 Mini catalog (check it out here) and I chose to use one of the new bundles called Around the Bend. I think this would make an wonderful card for any occasion – ‘Hello There’ is just perfect for this!

In today’s video I have created a card layout using it to create a valentine card for one and a birthday card for the second. I have made sure all the measurements are the same and the same tone-on-tone technique used on both.

Continue readingOnce again I enjoyed designing and making my flip over calendar for 2023, with the help of my friend, Elly – while she was visiting from the UK in October. . As I have done for the last few years I am going to be sharing one at the start of each month. This was designed for a stamp camp in early December 2022, we had such fun making them and my ladies have made me promise to do another for 2024
I am changing things a little for this year, I recognise not everyone is into making 3D items so have created a card for each month, using elements from the calendar for that month. .

Continue readingI am a bit of an organizing fanatic – (although if you looked at my desk right now you would probably think HUH!?!) I am always looking for a bit of paper to write a note on or double checking the date. So today’s 3D project covers both of those needs.
These are very easy to make and would make a super little gift for a co-worker, it holds about 200 pieces of 4 1/4 x 2 3/4 copy paper!
