These are the cards we would prefer not to have to send, but they do offer such comfort to those who receive them. The line art in the Decorative Borders Stamp set is beautiful and as the set does not have any greetings it is easy to pair up with another set which has a variety of different greetings to make this into a ‘feel better soon’, thank you, retirement or even a birthday card. Today I have used the Peaceful Moments Stamp Set for my greeting.

Easy Framed Florets Thank You Card Idea

Welcome to my Corner of the World

The Framed Florets Stamp Set has everything I love – flowers and greetings in a pretty cursive font. I have used it for today’s card which is monochromatic and just verging on the vintage side without having lots of sponging so is a very easy and fairly quick card to make. Since the stamp set has different greeting such as birthday, celebrate and friend – the layout and colors could be used to cover different occasions.

Friends are Like Seashells – Thinking of You Card

Welcome to my Corner of the World

A little change of pace and subject today I broke out the Friends are like Seashells Stamp Set for today’s card ~ it is a gender neutral set and great for a whole host of occasions. I have made this as a thinking of you card, (today would have been my dear Pop’s 93rd birthday and he is in my thoughts) which is a great sentiment if you want to send a ‘just because’ card or it will work for sympathy or for someone who is unwell and you want to give them a little lift to their day.

Caring Thoughts Card Idea

Welcome to my Corner of the World

Using the Celebrate with Flowers Stamp Set along with one of the greetings from the Bamboo Beauty Stamp set allowed me to create this ‘Caring Thoughts’ card which I think would be great as a get well or sympathy card or even a ‘just because’ card. The Early Expresso and Calypso Coral colors go so well together with a little touch of bling!
