Just a little touch of the orient in today’s card. I broke out my Blending Brush along with the Bamboo Beauty Stamp Set for the very quick any occasion card….. I did not use any greetings on it so it will be just perfect for almost any occasion that might pop up!

Continue readingI was a bit taken aback when I came up with today’s color combination ~ Real Red and Coastal Cabana ~ I saw some scraps that had fallen on the floor and decided I was going to go for it!! Very striking and I think it works!
As the colors are so striking I decided to keep the card itself very simple, just using a very simple fun gatefold.

The new Jan – June 2022 Mini catalog has the Butterflies and flowers Layering Decorative Masks – which are basically stencils. I give a quick overview of the 6 that are the pack in my video which focusses on the butterfly sheets. It was such fun to work with these and I am sure I will have some other samples to share with you over the coming weeks.
Continue readingToday’s card showcases the new Blessings of Home Stamp Set with the whitewash technique. It uses the Copper Embossing Powder and ink refills to create this very feminine birthday card.

Continue readingThe First Noel is probably my favorite Christmas Carol, the Happy Holly Days Stamp set has a greeting that simply says ‘NOEL’ so I have paired it with the Merry Melody 3D Embossing Folder for today’s card.
This is an asymmetric card – the front is slightly shorter than the back – which allowed another of the greetings from the set to peep thru while the card is still closed.

Today’s card uses the Festive Foliage Background Stamp with the Stamparatus, some nice traditional Christmas colors, a luxurious bow and a few gold Metallic Pearls.
Continue readingI have used the Forever Fern Stamp Set such a lot – I love those leaves and there are some lovely greetings to go along with them. Today I have paired it with the Bloom Where You’re Planted Decorative Paper, which itself has lots of leafy designs that work well with the stamps.
The ‘to a friend that makes me smile’ greeting is just so lovely – it can work for a birthday, thinking of you, get well or just because card – it just covers a host of different occasions.
Continue readingI spent yesterday afternoon making mince pies – Christmas is just 12 days away. I have nearly everything done now, just need to get fresh veggies a little nearer the day! However I still do have a few more Christmas cards to send which is a little job for tomorrow or Wednesday.
This is one of the cards I designed for a recent Christmas Card Stamp Camp ~ I love the combination of Night of Navy, Basic White, silver embossing a little sparkle from the organdy ribbon.
