Fond Farewell ~ Tuscan Vineyard

We are in the last couple of weeks for the Stampin UP! 2018 – 2019  annual catalog which means that stamp sets and other products will be retiring and there are some of my favorites among them.  So I am going to use my blog posts to share some of the things that are retiring – along with links so that you can put in your order so you don’t miss out.

Today’s card uses the Tuscan Vineyard Stamp Set ~ one I have used on several cards in the past, this one makes a great guy card.

Touches of Texture ~ Team Anniversary Cards

I had a few of my team celebrate their Stampin’ UP! anniversary in March and I like to acknowledge their achievement and thank them for being part of my Corner of the World!

The Touches of Texture Stamp Set has been a firm favorite – for a start off it has flowers in it and lots of different parts so you can build up the flower(s) you want.  Secondly it also has some ‘texture’ stamps to fill in any spaces.

Sad to say this set is retiring at the end of May – so if it is one you have been thinking about getting now is the time to do it, there is a link to my on-line store a little further down this page.

Wonderful Moments ~ Mum-to-be Card

We were delighted to learn our friends daughter is expecting her first child at the end of this summer, last weekend we found out it will be a little girl!  I know I am old fashioned although I would prefer being called a traditionalist, but I just had to do a pink card!

The Wonderful Moments stamp set has just the perfect image plus the perfect greeting so along with my Stampin’ Blends I was ready to start.

BTW – this stamp set is great for a wedding as well as congratulating a woman on graduation, job promotion, birthday, making an inspirational card  – so check it out at the link below.

Stamparatus Technique ~ Set Back Stampin’ Video Tutorial

It is a while since I shared a technique using the Stamparatus and today I have one called Set Back Stampin’ using the Petal Palette Stamp set with the coordinating Petals and More Thinlet Dies.

The Stamparatus is Stampin’ UP!’s latest tool  and an absolute must have for all stampers.  It helps you perfectly align your stamp images, stamp multiples of the same project quickly and accurately and gets complete ink coverage – ‘cos you can do a ‘do-over’ as my video today will show.

Poppy Parade, Crackle Paint ~ Just a Note…..

Sometimes you just need a card so you can send a message, nothing specific but just a note.  It could say thinking of you inside or thank you, speedy recovery ~ I guess just about anything that will make someone’s day when they open the envelope.

The Crafting Forever stamp set has a stamp with just 3 pens and I love it, I have paired it with the Crackle Paint Background Stamp then rooted around in my stash to find the “Just a Note…. greeting which is from one of the Saleabration sets (now no longer available 😦 )

Ink & Share Scrapbook Blog Hop ~ Masculine

Welcome to the   Ink & Share Scrapbook blog hop,  I took a few months off while I helped America file their income taxes but I am delighted to be taking part  again.  We are  group of international Stampin UP! demonstrators sharing our ideas and creativity with you.

You will have either arrived from  Rebecca Jo’s post or starting here ~ either way WELCOME.  This month’s theme is Masculine   ~  probably one of the subjects I struggle with  the most !

Once again I have chosen to use a 12 x 12 page – mainly because Stampin’ UP! has 12 x 12 card stock in all its colors which gives me a fantastic choice but also because they have the 12 x 12 Page Protectors and Albums.

Flourishing Phrases – Night of Navy Sympathy

The Flourishing Phrases stamp set has a whole bunch of very useful greetings along with a lovely big floral stem, flower and leaf image that allows you to create some great cards.

Today I have chosen to use the with Sympathy one, however the colors and design could work very well with any of the greetings in the set.  A sympathy card is not one that we particularly want to make but there is a need and this image is really quite soothing.

Triple Layer Stamping ~ Video Tutorial

I do love a good technique! I know Triple Layer Stampin’ has been around for a while but it is always good to revisit and bring it up to date with our current stamp sets and colors.

I have chosen the Tuscan Vineyard stamp set for this card – it has lots of different images that work very well with this technique, and paired it with Itty Bitty Birthday Wishes Stamp Set for my greeting.  I am also thinking that it would make a great card for the fellas in our lives, birthday, graduation or even Father’s Day!

Vibrant Vases Fun Fold

Today’s card was made using my Stampartus along with the the Vibrant Vases Stamp Set.  This set has lots of vase and flower images so you can build up a really decorative panel for your card – which is an off-set Z fold.

I have no idea where the color combination came from other than I glanced down at some scraps on my work bench and Cajan Craze and Petal Pink were just lying there left over from previous projects ~ they just seemed ‘right’ and I went with it!

Remember we only have 5 more days before Sale-a-Bration is over for another year – please go ahead on place your order today – there are links below to my on-line store, I would so appreciate you shopping with me 🙂
