I found some scraps of decorative paper, I know they are from a long retired pack but I could not bare to waste them! I know many of us have ‘old stuff’ waiting patiently to be used, waiting their turn after we have played with the ‘new stuff’ – so let us not waste them – pick out a few of the colors for your ink and card and turn them into a pretty thank you card.

Fun Fold Thank you

I was a bit taken aback when I came up with today’s color combination ~ Real Red and Coastal Cabana ~ I saw some scraps that had fallen on the floor and decided I was going to go for it!! Very striking and I think it works!

As the colors are so striking I decided to keep the card itself very simple, just using a very simple fun gatefold.

Thank you for Everything – Seashells Embossing Folder Idea

Welcome to my Corner of the World

A change of theme for today – with Thanksgiving and Christmas on the horizon we are going to need some thank you cards. I chose to feature the Seashells 3D embossing folder, just adding a simple greeting so the details of this embossing folder do not get lost. I am thinking this would make a really good masculine thank you card…….. change out the greeting and it would be a perfect masculine birthday card as well!!

Butterflies and Feathers – Thank You Card

Welcome to my Corner of the World

I have used the Positive Thoughts Stamp Set a lot, I love the different images and it has some pretty greetings as well. I like to think out of the box for my color combinations, sometimes it is inspired by ribbon, decorative paper or scraps I find on my work station that just ‘look’ interesting and appealing. So that is how the Misty Moonlight and Mint Macaron used today came into being – scraps waiting to be tidied away 🙂
