Having a standard recipe for the layers of a card can be a good start in the design process, today’s card follows a recipe I use quite a lot. That is my starting point, then I choose my colors and stamp set (s).
I may have shared in the past……………….. I love punches, they are one of the first things I look for when a new catalog comes out so while the layout is straightforward I have gone a little overboard with my punches. 🙂

Continue readingLast week I shared my technique for creating daffodils with the Daffodil Dies. As I explained in my video at the time I chose to use some ‘off the wall’ colors for my demo so that it would be easier for you to see how the different pieces went together.
As you know – I hate waste – and seeing those two ‘wild’ looking daffodils sitting on my work bench troubled me! so I pulled out some Basic Black card, did a touch of heat embossing and attached them to create this thank you card.
