To Every Season ~ Thanksgiving Card

welcome back to my corner of the world

We will be celebrating Thanksgiving here  in the US in the coming days, as an ex-pat Brit – it is not a holiday that we were familiar with when we came to the US in 2001.  Since that time we have celebrated the holiday with our friends here and certainly enjoy the traditions and food linked to the holiday.

So today is has a thanksgiving flavor but would also be perfect as a birthday or an all occasion card.  The To every Season Stamp Set and coordination Every Season Punch Pack

Gather Together Box Card ~ Video Tutorial

welcome back to my corner of the world.

I love to do fancy folds so when one of my lovely customers asked if we could do a ‘box’ card at a future class it gave me a chance to reach  back into my archives and find one I had done some 6 – 7 years ago.

I have bought it up to date with the beautiful Come Together Suite of products, choosing the  Pretty Peacock and Pear Pizzazz colors from this suite.

Harvest Hello – Autumn Card

welcome back to my corner of the world.

I think it is safe to say that autumn has finally arrived in North Texas, we had a cold front come thru late last Tuesday which plummeted our daytime temp from mid 90’s down to the mid 40’s! and we had 1/2 of rain!

I broke out the beautiful Painted Harvest stamp set and used 3-step stampin’ to create the sunflowers.  Read on to find the video tutorial………………….. Continue reading

Dramatic Painted Harvest ~ Thank you

I just love the card I am sharing today – well I love all the cards I make, share and send but the one today just shouts out at me, it has everything I love to put on a card, layers, bling, ribbon and finally that it uses the Painted Harvest Stamp set carried over from the 2017 Holiday Catalog, I have used this stamp set in all sorts of ways, with all sorts of color combinations but today I am using dramatic black and white with just a smidge of grey. Painted Harvest ~ Sunflower and Acorns

Halloween is now behind us and Thanksgiving will be in a few weeks.  I have always loved autumn colors, the gentle mellowness of the lovely golden based tones.

The Painted Autumn Designer Series Paper is filled with Crushed Curry, Early Expresso, Cajun Craze and Tangerine Tango.  Today I have two cards showcasing this paper and the coordinating Painted Harvest Stamp Set. Continue reading

We have a few more days for the on-line extravaganza – click the picture above and it will take right to the goodies that are on sale – get a start of your Christmas shopping!

When the holiday catalog came out at the beginning of September it was just full of products that I knew I could not do without!  I am always attracted to flowers and have to really control myself from choosing those over other designs.

The Petals and Paisleys suite of products is kind of flowery but they aren’t true flowers and I did resist them for a while but I gave in and  over the last few days I have shared a number of projects using these products and I have just one more to share.
