Today’s card is another in my Sweet and Simple series where I have set myself a little challenge using a small amount of equipment and supplies – kind of like one of those cookery shows where you are given 3 or 4 ingredients and you have to turn it into a spectacular 4 course meal. Then you find the basics such as stock, herbs and spices etc are ‘pantry’ items and it turns out that the meal was made with a whole host of ‘hidden’ stuff we did not know about.
Tuttie Fruitti Cuties
Today I have a ‘twofer’ to share. Last November I went to the Stampin’ UP! On-Stage (convention) where we had a chance to look and play with some of the products that were coming up in the 2018 Occasions Catalog – one of the projects we made were a couple of tags with the Tutti Fruiti Suite. They are really cute and I bought them home and put them on my workbench – not really sure what to do with them – until last weekend! It came to me ……………. Continue reading

Touches of Texture Pop-Out Card with Video Tutorial
Here in the USA the clocks sprang forward this morning, who would have thought that losing an hour could have such an impact! The mornings have gotten darker again and it will stay lighter this evening but it does mess up meal times and throws the Daisy Mae and Cici (our Yorkies) out of wack completely.
I have a card with a little surprise when it is opened to share today, it would be a great card for almost anyone, particularly for children with the right colors etc ~ but today I chose to use more feminine colors with one of my favorite stamp sets ~ Touches of Texture and the greeting is HUGS – just perfect for any occasion 🙂 Continue reading
Petal Palette Thank You
Petal Palette – I just love this stamp set – I have shared in the past how much I love flowers and using them in my cards and this one has them + a cute little bird and a boatload of useful greetings. Today’s card uses a number of products from the Petal Passion Suite in the Occasions Catalog. This suite features mainly black and white with a little flash of silver – so it will go with just about anything in Stampin’ UP!’s range of colors, today I chose to go with Calypso Coral. Southern Serenade Birthday
This is one of those special birthday cards – made for a friend who was celebrating a milestone birthday – I did not add an age – everyone deserves a little consideration when it comes to that! My stamp set is Southern Serenade with the Layering Oval Dies making the focal point and Eclectic Layers thinlits dies giving some background dimension. Continue reading

Bubble Over Thank you
Today’s card has lots of lovely bright and happy colors and uses some of the lovely products from the 2017 Occasions catalog.
I chose to use the Bubble Over bundle for this one, the stamp set has a number of sentiments so that you could make this into a birthday card which I think would be perfect for a teenager. I paired this with Bubble and Fizz Designer Series Paper which is a free Sale-a-bration gift with a $50 product purchase.

Sweet and Simple ~ Lovely Wishes
Today’s card is another in my Sweet and Simple series where I have set myself a little challenge using a small amount of equipment and supplies – kind of like one of those cookery shows where you are given 3 or 4 ingredients and you have to turn it into a spectacular 4 course meal. Then you find the basics such as stock, herbs, spices and pasta/rice etc are ‘pantry’ items and it turns out that the meal was made with a whole host of ‘hidden’ stuff we did not know about.
So the ‘pantry items’ for my challenge are going to be, adhesive, Stampin Trimmer, Bone folder and Paper-Piercing tool. I am going to attempt to create with 1 stamp set and some ink pads, 1 embellishment (other than paper or card) and one additional tool, probably a punch. Click here to see the first in the series.
I chose the Lovely Wishes Stamp Set from the Occasions Catalog – it has lots of ‘swirly’ images with leaves and dinky little flowers that remind me of tulips. Continue reading
Delightful Daisy meets Flourishing Phrases
February 25th………….. can you believe it has been 2 months since we celebrated Christmas! Those of you who know me or follow my blog will know that I work for H & R Block during the tax season and we are well into the thick of preparing the nations tax returns – which is probably why the last 9 weeks or so have flown by.
Today I am sharing one of the projects I designed for a group of ladies, known as the Soul Sisters, who invited me to be their entertainment for the February meeting, I chose to use the lovely Delightful Daisy Designer Series Paper, pulling in Night of Navy and Wisteria Wonder as my accent colors
