Happy July 4th……..

Today the USA celebrates its independence  from Great Britain, a time for family, friends, food (mainly BBQ’d) and the odd foaming peevo!  Normally it would be a hot sunny July day here in North Texas, however we were woken up by huge thunderstorms and rain at about 5:30 this morning.  It is  a little after 10am now, although the rain has stopped it is still very overcast and most ‘unlovely’…… Typical bank holiday weather in my native UK in fact!

Scrumptious new in-colors from Stampin’ Up!

It is not quite 3 weeks since the 2016 – 2017 Annual catalog was launched and with it the new In-colors that we shall have for the next 2 years.  The new colors are always greatly anticipated because they are always up-to-date and in line with current trends – Stampin’ Up! go to a lot of trouble to ensure this is the case.

One of the perks of being a demonstrator, I get the chance to see these new colors,  a sneak peak at the new catalog in late April and was able to buy some of the new items at the beginning of May and I gotta say – I just love them all, they are clean, bright colors and a wonderful addition to the color families.

Floral Boutique Suite ~ Stampin’ Up! 2016 – 2017 Catalog

Over the last  4 – 5 months I have been sharing my mission to use Designer Series Paper (DSP) and have  posted a lot of projects here so show my progress.

Well the new Stampin’ Up! catalog was made available to demonstrators in mid April and lots of new designs of DSP were included.  As soon as I clapped eyes on the Floral Boutique DSP and its coordinating products I fell in love.

The catalog became live on June 1st and now I can share the beautiful suite of products with you…………….. focusing on the DSP Continue reading

Shaving Cream Technique

Toward the middle of May I had a technique class which was very popular with all the ladies who joined.  While I was preparing for the class I used a number of different color combinations which I promised to share.

Each of the card have the same measurements and construction, only the ink colors changed and the color of the ribbon on the bow!
