Today the USA celebrates its independence from Great Britain, a time for family, friends, food (mainly BBQ’d) and the odd foaming peevo! Normally it would be a hot sunny July day here in North Texas, however we were woken up by huge thunderstorms and rain at about 5:30 this morning. It is a little after 10am now, although the rain has stopped it is still very overcast and most ‘unlovely’…… Typical bank holiday weather in my native UK in fact!

To stay in touch with us she periodically organises on-line events thru our group Facebook page. Last Thursday we had a ‘mystery stamp’ event.

Scrumptious new in-colors from Stampin’ Up!
It is not quite 3 weeks since the 2016 – 2017 Annual catalog was launched and with it the new In-colors that we shall have for the next 2 years. The new colors are always greatly anticipated because they are always up-to-date and in line with current trends – Stampin’ Up! go to a lot of trouble to ensure this is the case.
One of the perks of being a demonstrator, I get the chance to see these new colors, a sneak peak at the new catalog in late April and was able to buy some of the new items at the beginning of May and I gotta say – I just love them all, they are clean, bright colors and a wonderful addition to the color families.
Timeless Texture – Double Z Card
The Double Z fold card seems to be very popular at the moment, I have seen lots of examples on Pinterest and YouTube. I am always looking for ideas, designs, techniques and folds for my classes and this one was just too good not to use!
