The new 2015 Stampin’ Up! Occasions catalog brought a new selection of ribbons and embellishments. For each of the ‘mini catalogs’ (there are 2 in a year) as well as the new Annual Catalog, I host a ‘share’ where each participant has a few of each embellishment or a yard or two of each of the new ribbons, so they can have something of everything that the new catalog has to offer without breaking the bank!
February Stamp Set of the Month
February kits were delivered last week, but I have been so caught up in my ‘day’ job (doing taxes!) that I did not have time to post anything about them
Each of the packs contained the supplies to make 3 completely different cards and a treat box with the For Peeps Sake’ Stamp set. My kits contain printed recipes with diagrams and photographs as well as a video tutorial for each project
March Stamp Set of the Month
I have chosen ” Moon Lake for this months projects, another set from the 2015 Occasions catalog. This set lends itself perfectly to water coloring and each of the cards features a little of this. I also introduce a couple of masking techniques.

Happy Birthday…….
Today is our eldest grand-daughter’s 6th birthday, as she lives in England we don’t get to see to much of her, but a card is one way of sharing our delight in her birthday.
It is always a challenge for me to make cards the ‘littlies’ (as we call them in our family) but when I first saw this Etch-a-sketch card I knew it would be perfect.
New Videos added …… For All Things Stamp Set
I have added some new videos to my blog, all 4 of them feature the ‘For All Things’ Stamp set, which was the featured set for October’s Stamp Set of the Month. So in addition to detailed instructions I also make a video on each of the projects so you can see them being made. More information is available on the Stamp Set of the Month tab on my page.
Happy Valentine’s Day
This is the final project celebrating Valentine’s Day, I think I saved this one for last as it really does use colors well outside the box, but who said Valentine cards had to be red and pink!!!!
I hope you enjoyed my week of valentine projects, I certainly enjoyed sharing them with you – if you have a moment please leave me a comment ~ let me know you are out there !!!!!
Valentine’s Week # 6
My 6th Valentine project is a card, and this time an unexpected stamp set ~ Sheltering Tree’ from the Occasions catalog. This is a very versatile set and I shall be featuring it in some of my classes in the coming months. The colors, once again, are traditional for valentine day but it would look equally as good in any of the other color combinations I have shared in the last few days.
I hope you are enjoying these valentine projects – please leave me a comment!
Valentine’s Week # 5
Another card for the 5th day of my Valentine week projects. This one I have chosen some contemporary colors, Rose Red and Blackberry Bliss, two very rich colors, giving something different for this holiday.
I hope you are enjoying these valentine projects – please leave me a comment!
Valentine’s Week # 4
My 4th Valentine project is a treat holder, it holds one Ghiradelli chocolate square and would make a very quick but impressive token to share at school, in the office or at one of your interest groups!
I hope you are enjoying these valentine projects – please leave me a comment!
Valentine’s Week # 3
Number 3 of my Valentine’s cards is one I found on Pinterest, but I changed the colors from reds and blacks to Coastal Cabana and Basic Black. I was told about Pinterest a few years ago and I logged on…. 2 hours went by without me seeing the passing of them and I vowed I would be more careful with my time in the future! So I ration myself to about 20 minutes each time, I was fortunate to find this little gem in one of my 20 minutes!
I hope you are enjoying these valentine projects – please leave me a comment!
