So this is the second of my Valentine’s cards, it is one I made as a swap for Stampin’ Up!’s convention last summer. I chose really contemporary colors for this one and it used heat embossing technique for the background. Once again, I think it would make a perfect anniversary, engagement or wedding card!

Here we are … February 8th already!!! I just looked at the calendar and realized that Valentine’s Day is this coming Saturday, perfect occasion to make and send a card to that special someone (or someones) in your life
I have made a few cards over the last few weeks that would be perfect for valentine, or maybe an anniversary, engagement or wedding card. I will be sharing them with you over the coming days 🙂
Earlier this week I shared my ‘ organised swap’ for Leadership, but we also have a ‘general swap’ where you design a card and make as many as you would like to get back from fellow swappers.
Due to time constraints I was only able to make 20 but I was pleased with my design and I received some lovely swaps in return.
Last week I attended Stampin’ Up!’s annual Leadership Conference in Orlando Florida. This is a chance to hear from the senior people from Stampin’ Up!’s home office, to meet fellow demonstrators and to share ideas. It is open to all demonstrators and is a great way to connect with those who share a love of paper crafting.
Every time demonstrators get together it is a good excuse to make cards and to swap with our peers, it is one of the highlights!

I am currently at Stampin Up!’s annual Leadership conference in Orlando, Florida. I am sharing a room with two sweet ladies and it is traditional to exchange a gift. I always try to do something a little ‘special’ or unusual, this year I chose to do these treat holders………..

January’s stamp set of the month kits are ready to go to their new homes.
Each of the packs contain the supplies to make 4 completely different cards with the ‘Choose Happiness’ Stamp set. This kit includes the Stampin’ Dimensionals , Stampin Sponge and a video tutorial for each card.
You cannot always get notice of the need for a card, so having some ‘cards to hand’ is always a good thing. We had a bereavement in my husband’s family, as we live so far away, we will not be able to attend the services but at least we can let them know we are thinking of them.
Last July’s stamp set of the month was Flowering Flourishes and I made a series of cards which did not have any sentiment so could be used for most any occasion.
