Valentine’s Week # 2

So this is the second of my Valentine’s cards, it is one I made as a swap for Stampin’ Up!’s convention last summer.  I chose really contemporary colors for this one and it used heat embossing technique for the background.  Once again, I think it would make a perfect anniversary, engagement or wedding card!

Valentine’s Week # 1

Here we are … February 8th already!!! I just looked at the calendar and realized that Valentine’s Day is this coming Saturday,  perfect occasion to make and send a card to that special someone (or someones) in your life

I have made a few cards over the last few weeks that would be perfect for valentine, or maybe an anniversary, engagement or wedding card. I will be sharing them with you over the coming days 🙂

Leadership Swaps ~ Part 1

Last week I attended Stampin’ Up!’s annual Leadership Conference in Orlando Florida.  This is a chance to hear from the senior people from Stampin’ Up!’s home office, to meet fellow demonstrators and to share ideas.  It is open to all demonstrators and is a great way to connect with those who share a love of paper crafting.

Every time demonstrators get together it is a good excuse to make cards and to swap with our peers, it is one of the highlights!

Stamp Set of the Month to the rescue

You cannot always get notice of the need for a card, so having some ‘cards to hand’ is always a good thing.  We had a bereavement in my husband’s family, as we live so far away, we will not be able to attend the services but at least we can let them know we are  thinking of them.

Last July’s stamp set of the month was Flowering Flourishes and  I made a  series of cards which did not have any sentiment so could be used for most any occasion.
