This year Stampin’ UP! introduced the Days to Remember Stamp Set which makes the whole process of stamping them ‘oh so very easy’ . Continue readingI am not entirely sure what to call the technique used on today’s card, so I have dubbed it a ‘Patchwork’ Technique. I wanted to use the Messages Dies in a different way and when I finished it looked like a patchwork!
The Many Messages Stamp Set with the coordinating Messages Dies are one of the most popular in the January to June 2021 Mini Catalog – and I can understand why – it allows you to create multiple greetings in one go, either use them all at once or keep a little stash if you need to quickly create a card.

So I am going to use my blog posts to share some of the things that are retiring – along with links so that you can put in your order so you don’t miss out.
Today’s card uses the Friendly Expressions Stamp Set ~ along with the Garden Trellis Embossing Folder
One of the ladies in my Stampin’ UP! team promoted to Bronze Elite during June, this is a wonderful achievement for her and carries benefits which includes 25% discount on everything she buys from Stampin’ Up!
I could not let this go by without a card for her, she loves butterflies and Daffodil Delight – and that is what she got on her card.
Last week my sister’s youngest son graduated from a UK university with a Masters degree in Aeronautical Engineering (amongst other things) A bit of a smart cookie (who must take after his aunt I’m sure!)
While at university he was a member of the Air Cadets which is linked to the Royal Air Force and during the early part of July he took his first solo flight. So many wonderful things to celebrate and hopefully the card I made and sent reflects the enormous pride I feel in his achievements.
This is the third card in my mini series using the Sassy Salutations stamp set, which has 6 different greetings in a really zany font. This time a ‘Congratulations’ card and there is a video on this one!

I needed cards for three different occasions, “Happy Birthday’, ‘Happy Anniversary’ and ‘Congratulations’ for a new grandchild. I decided the same design would work but using different colors and to change the layout of the ‘card candy’ (a new term I just learned, meaning embellishment!) The stamp set was Stampin Up’s Creative Elements ( and we just heard today this set is being retired and is now only available while stocks last!) see the bottom of this post for a great ‘free shipping’ offer 🙂
