The Itty Bitty Birthday Stamp Set has just about as many different ways to wish ‘Happy Birthday’ as there can be. Rather than choose one of the stamps I used about 4 – 5 of them on today’s card.
Although I have chosen to use different shade of blue this would work in pinks, yellows, greens et al, and still make a great card for both adults and children.

Where did January go? Here we are on February 2nd and Valentine’s Day just around the corner. I think it is time for one of my sweet and simple cards – where I use one stamp set, some card, ink, 1 tool and an embellishment. #simplestamping
I chose to use the Meant to Be Stamp set today, it has such pretty, decorative hearts allowing me to randomly stamp to create my card front.
Cupcakes are the perfect way to celebrate a birthday, they are becoming more popular than the traditional birthday cake. I am sharing the card I made for our eldest grand-daughter’s birthday so I have chosen shades of pink but it would work perfectly well with blues, purples, yellows or reds…………. whatever color theme works for you.

I usually share cards that I have created from scratch, but there are times I need a card quickly and no time to work thru a design, choose my colors and embellishments – so that is where an all inclusive card kit comes in so very handy.
The Soft Sayings Kit contains the supplies for 20 cards ~ 2 each of 10 designs, an exclusive stamp set, clear block for those stamps and an ink spot for stamping your cards. I have made one of each size to share with you but will leave making up the others until I need them and choose the greeting to meet the need at the time.

Oh how very cute are these note cards? They measure 4 1/2 x 2 1/2 and you get 20 cards and envelopes in a pack, ready to create quick and beautiful note cards.
I am sharing one of the new stamp sets from the 2019 Occasions Catalog, Amazing Life which has a cake for all the things worth celebrating with versatile sentiments perfect for many occasions. It even has lots of decorative curlicue pieces for prettying up the inside of your card and the envelope.
I am not really sure what to call this technique and I have seen it used in various places, but is produces such a pretty effect and is really quite easy to do, as I show in the video.
I chose to use the Lovely as a Tree Stamp Set along with the Woodland Embossing folder. As this stamp set does not have any greetings I used one from the Eastern Beauty Stamp Set and created a thank you card, but it would work as a really great card for the fellas in our lives or maybe a Christmas card simply by changing the greeting.
