Country Floral Lane Fun-fold Birthday Card Idea

Welcome to my Corner of the World

We have a 14 year old grand-daughter – it is an age where I find it difficult to hit the right spot between a childhood theme and one for an adult!! Not surprisingly (for me) I chose to do something floral but bright and cheerful for a young woman. It also has a very quick and easy fun fold for which I made a video ….. just to show you how quick and easy it is!!

Bright and Cheerful Get Well Card Idea

Welcome to my Corner of the World

How delightful to get this bright and cheerful card in the post when you are feeling ‘not so good’. I am sure that there are many of us who know someone who has not been in the best of health, either thru the current health crisis or other issues, so having some Get Well Cards on hand is very useful.

The Healing Hugs stamp set is perfectly named and perfect for making todays’ card. I chose Magenta Madness paired with some Smoky Slate and Silver Foil for this little splash of cheerfulness.

Fond Farewell ~ Crafting Forever Inspirational Card

Welcome back to my corner of the world

I cannot remember a time in my life that I have been bored – there has always been something for me to do  ranging from reading, weeding my flower beds, baking bread or cakes, sewing on a button, even clearing out a cupboard or drawer or crafting – I think all of these are ‘creative’ in some way so I have really loved the Crafting Forever Stamp set particularly the ‘Do Something Creative Every Day” greeting.

Today’s card uses just this stamp along with the Daisy and Medium Daisy Punches.  The Crafting Forever Stamp set is about to retire along with the Gold Faceted Gems I used for the center of my daisy!

Heirloom Frames and Daisy Lane Vintage Birthday Card

Hello Paper Crafting Friends ~ welcome back to my corner of the world.

Friday was my dear friend Elly (from the UK) birthday.  I have mentioned her on a  number of occasions as she has visited me here in the US several times, helped me with my annual Stampin’ Getaway retreat and craft fairs.  She is a talented papercrafter herself (click here to see her facebook page) so there is some pressure to make a special card 🙂

So today’s  card has a sort of vintage look with some sponging to soften cut edges using the Daisy Lane Stamp set with the Medium Daisy Punch along with the Well Said Stamp Set and coordinating Well Written DIes.
