Happy Retirement Adirondack Chair and Follow Your Art

Hello Paper Crafting Friends ~ welcome back to my corner of the world.

It is so lovely to hear that someone is retiring – how wonderful to be able to get to that stage in your life when your time is your own to do with what you want – when you want to do it! So when a dear friend’s husband announced he was retiring in August it was the perfect occasion to celebrate with a card for him.

Today’s card has a tiny bit of stamping using the Well Said stamp set then some die cutting with the coordinating Well Written Dies.

Colorful Seasons Calendar

I have a small, but precious team of Stampin’ UP! demonstrators and each Christmas I like to make a gift .  This year I decided to make a ‘Flip-over’ calendar for each of them using the Tolsby picture frame from IKEA.

After I finished each of the months I realized that the design could equally be used as a card front, so each can do double duty!

Autumn Wreath – Colorful Seasons meets Daisy Punch

I think I have said on other occasions how much I like autumn colors and the natural feel of burlap and wood and I am always drawn to anything in those colors!

Autumn Polished Stone

We are in the last few days of summer – autumn starts on Friday.  Living in North Texas I think that autumn is my favorite season of the year, when I lived in the UK I used to hate the autumn, the days were getting shorter, some days were warm but more often were damp and overcast needing a coat each time you stepped out of the door.

Here in N. Texas it starts to get a cooler but we still get lovely sunny days that don’t require you to bundle up to go outside, working in the garden without getting overheated and sticky after about 5 mins is another pleasure.

In celebration of autumn I have a card in lovely autumnal colors and beautiful leaves. Continue reading

Colorful Seasons with Berry Burst

This is the third of the 5 new In-Colors launched on June 1st ~ Berry Burst is a really vibrant magenta color that I paired with Smoky Slate, which allow the Berry Burst to ‘burst’ out as a focal color.

All the cards I am sharing that introduce the new 2017 – 2018 In-colors,  have been made using the Colorful Seasons Stamp Set which literally has Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter images with a selection of greetings in a lovely font.  Better yet – it has a coordinating Thinlets Die set (if you buy the bundle – you get 10% discount!)
