Thoughts and Prayers ~ Stampin’ UP!

I wanted to make a very simple card, this is not my normal style – I usually like layers, embellishments and some bling, but today I needed simple.

The Thoughts and Prayers Stamp Set has a  lovely floral and leafy shishy sort of branch that is so restful and also takes quite a bit of the card front .  I chose to use my favorite color combination Very Vanilla and Night of Navy.

I used the Very Vanilla Note Cards and Envelopes for this card and simply placed the stamp directly onto the card front.    The ‘Hello’ is from the Flourishing Phrases stamp set, onto Very Vanilla, cut with 1″ circle punch  then layered onto Night of Navy with the new 1 1/8  Scalloped Circle Punch.

The Very Vanilla Note Cards and Envelopes are a great staple to have in your crafting stash ~ 20 cards and envelopes for $6, also available in Whisper White.  Click here to see another idea using the Notecards.
