We have a new embossing folder in the 2018 -2019 Annual Stampin’ UP! catalog, simply called ‘ Tufted‘ I wanted to use it so much but for it not to get lost in too much other detail.
Once again a gentle stroll thru my stamp sets and dies I spied the Flourishing Phases stamp set and the coordinating Flourishing Thinlits Dies – neither of which had been used for a while.
I chose Very Vanilla and Crumb Cake for my card colors and sponged the edges to give them a little definition.
Card base: 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 Thick Very Vanilla Card ~ scored @ 4 1/4
Layer 1: 5 1/4 x 4 Very Vanilla Card
Ink Color: Crumb Cake
The Flourishing Phrases Stamp set has a lovely selection of different greetings – all in a pretty cursive font – I looked for one I had not used before but I think this design and colors could work for any of the occasions that this stamp set covers.
I used the punch from the new Darling Label Punch Box… oh and it is perfectly named – it is absolutely darling!!! – you might want to check this out (see link below) as it has 6 different stamps, the coordinating Darling Label Punch, 2 ink spots and an acrylic block, simply add some notecards and you have a perfect starter kit!
Some 3/8 Gold edged Very Vanilla ribbon and a smattering of Basic Jewel Pearls and we are done!
