Hello Paper Crafting Friends ~ welcome back to my corner of the world.
Today’s card started life as a design for a Baby Shower, I was asked to create for a friend. The Beautiful Friendship stamp set has the most wonderful, soft flower images allowing you to build up just the design you want.
I could not bring myself to discard the samples I made so I pulled out the Beautiful Bouquet stamp set to convert one to a Birthday card and the other for a Wedding Anniversary
Happy Anniversary ~ Highland Heather with Purple Trio Ribbon
Card base: 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 Highland Heather OR Petal Pink card ~ scored @ 4 1/4
Layer 1: 5 1/4 x 4 Soft Sea Foam Card
Layer 2: 5 x 3 3/4 Whisper White Card
Scraps of Whisper White and Soft Sea Foam card for embellishments
Ink Colors: Soft Seafoam, Pear Pizzazz, Highland Heather & Gorgeous Grape or Petal Pink & Calypso Coral.
I stamped the larges flowers first then back-filled with the leaves to fill up my space. My color choices allowed me to use a couple of the new ribbons from the 2019 -2020 Annual Stampin’ UP! catalog. Click here to see how I tie my bows
All the colors used in both cards come from the Subtles Collection, you can purchase each of them separately OR by a pack that contains each of the 10 colors in the family.
