To Every Season ~ Halloween Sweet & Simple Card

welcome back to my corner of the world.

Have you seen the To Every Season stamp set on Page 51 of the 2019 Holiday Catalog? It has stamps and greetings for Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas and Valentine ~ how useful is that?  Not only that – there is a coordinating Every Season Punch Pack  and I just love punches.

So here we are a third of the way thru October!………..time to create Halloween card using this versatile set.

Card base:  8 1/2 x 5 1/2 Gorgeous Grape Card ~ scored @ 4 1/4

Layer 1:  4 1/2 x 3 1/2 Granny Apple Green Card

Layer 2: 4 3/8 x 3 3/8 Whisper White Card

Ink Colors: Gorgeous Grape and Tuxedo Black Memento Ink

First I stamped the greeting – then back filled with those cute bats,  One of the little bat stamps is the perfect size for the punch so I added 4 of them popped up on Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I did a little tone-on-tone stamping with the ‘BOO’ on the base card (click here for more info on this technique) before attaching layers 1 and 2 with 6 – 7 mini dimensionals.

Today’s card is another in my Sweet and Simple series where I have set myself a little challenge using a small amount of equipment and supplies – kind of like one of those cookery shows where you are given 3 or 4 ingredients and you have to turn it into a spectacular 4 course meal!  I think it meets my aim of using one stamp set, a couple of ink pads, an embellishment and a tool #simplestampin  (click here for other sweet and simple challenge cards)
