Gosh, the last day of the year and the decade! Cannot believe that tomorrow we will be in the Twenties ~ will they be roaring like the last century’s were? Today’s card is perfect for a New Years celebration but it would also be great for an anniversary, graduation, engagement, wedding … lots of possibilites!
So to all my readers, customers, friends and family, near and far. I wish you all a very happy, peaceful and prosperous New Year. Let’s ring in the new decade with hope and an open heart. Wish each other well and mean it. Help those who need it and accept help when offered. Let’s make it an amazing 2020!!!
Card base: 11 x 4 1/4 Basic Black Card ~ scored @5 1/2
Layer 1: 5 1/4 x 4 So Saffron Card run thru the big shot with the Stone 3D embossing folder (available free with Sale-a-bration starting on Jan 3rd!)
Layer 2: 4 5/8 x 2 1/8 Basic Black Card
Layer 3: 4 1/2 x 2 Whisper White Card
Ink Colors: So Saffron and Gray Granite
Last day of the year and probably the last card I will share with the goodies from the 2019 Holiday Catalog as it will be retiring on January 2nd – so if there is anything still on your wish list you need to place that order in the next 48 hours 🙂
I used the Sip Sip Hooray Stamp Set for my final card of the year, The stamp set has 3 different style glasses and a stamp to create the ‘liquid’ effect inside each – so two stamps and my champagne glass is done – oh and then there is also a little stamp to create the ‘bubbles’ as well. The greeting is cut from the Silver foil with the Cheers Dies then attached with teeny tiny dots of Multipurpose Adhesive applied with a cocktail stick (toothpick)
I used my Wink of Stella to give the wine a little sheen and then the lovely 3/8 Glittered Organdy Ribbon making the perfect finish to my New Year’s card. Check out my video on how I tie my ribbon
